Stir It Up

Sometimes when you get too settled, things get dull.  When your life gets stirred up a bit, you start to think creatively, and new and exciting things start to pop up everywhere you look.  That said, I just signed a contract for my first paid freelance food writing job with New York Metro (this will have no negative impact on Gothamist Food, by the way — that’s my baby!), and there are a few other things a-brewing.  Stay tuned!

Look at you, you’re like a real live writer! Getting paid! And not just by Google AdSense!
Did you make it to the happy hour last night? I didn’t see you.

First of all — thanks everyone! It’s not quite as exciting as it sounds. I’ll be doing very short blurbs for their online restaurant database, so it’s not really full-on reviews. We’ll see how it goes!
Second — I’m so sorry I didn’t make it to WYSIWYG — I was running so late that I just went to the Gothamist happy hour, but didn’t stay very long b/c I had an interview to prepare for the next day. It has been a busy week . . .
