When people put their stuff in a locker at the gym without putting a lock on it, I secretly want to either steal something from them or throw their crap all over the floor, just to teach them a lesson. I can't even express the willpower it takes to stop myself from doing this. Does this make me evil?

LOL – this made me laugh – I have the same thing happen all that time. My favorite was some girl who forgot which unlocked locker was hers, and had a panic attack saying “Where is my purse?!? Oh my god it was stolen!” and when people were like “What does your lock look like?” she said “Oh, I didn’t have one.” And of course she found her purse in a locker a few rows away, but every time I see her at the gym I think “What a moron”, which I will forever think whenever I see her…perhaps punishment enough? 🙂

Turns out my Facebook friends are even more evil than I am — got the following two suggestions:
1) An even more devious thing to do would be to get a lock and lock the locker.
2) or move it to another locker..

What really bugs me about those unlocked but full lockers is that I open them assuming they are available, only to find out they are being used…by some free-from-the-threat-of-theft, free-from-locks, trusting daredevil.
I want to be free! I want to trust!
But I would sooooo kick myself if something got stolen when using a lock is such a simple, easy solution.
