Happens to me all the time. Once it even happened in Paris, and tragically, I don’t even speak French.

I get that too.. maybe not 4 in one night, but i’ve had people ask me for directions while in Toronto, Boston, DC, London, Tokyo, Cancun, Amsterdam, and Ibiza.. I live in NYC, so it’s even more strange maybe that I was able to help almost all of them.
I think it has something to do with eye contact, and not looking scary..
