I was walking around the Village the other day and overheard two 20-something women whining about how much they missed their cars. Woman #1: “I hate having to walk so much. I’m lazy.” Woman #2: “I know! I wish I could just jump in my car.” Woman #1: “Seriously. I miss my car sooo much.”

My thought, hearing this: “Who are these freaks and why do they live here?”

I *finally* got my windows cleaned. Such a huge difference. The view isn’t any better, but still… Kicking myself for waiting as long as I did.

There are moments when only a plain slice from Joe’s Pizza will do…

About to head home from a wonderful week in the Loire Valley and Paris. See you soon, NYC!

To put it mildly, I am not a morning person. Minor annoyances — like when the top of my leakproof coffee mug decides that it doesn't want to seal shut properly, thereby rendering it UN-leakproof — send me into a rage. (On the flip side, when it started working again, it made my day.)

Spent the weekend with college friends in the Berkshires. Food, drink, and laughter were all plentiful. The only pictures I managed to take were at the Ioka Valley Farm, where we learned quite a bit about maple syrup.
