But there is a bird that hangs out in the courtyard space outside my window who seems to think that 3 or 4 AM is a perfectly appropriate time to chirp his little lungs out. By the time the sun comes up, he’s gone. I have had many fantasies of pulling out a shotgun so I can get a decent night’s sleep.

I feel the same way about the motorcyclist who buzzes by my window, wound out in second gear, at about 2:00 AM every morning! Try putting a life size plastic owl on the window sill.
