Best to schedule all future eye doctor appointments at the end of the day. Going to work unable to focus on the computer screen and looking drugged out from dialated pupils is just no good all around.

for the past several years, my eye doctor has been using this contraption called Optomap that takes a photo of the retina without dilation. it’s some extra cash, but makes the whole eye doctor business much less of a logistical pain. you might ask around to see who has one….
