I seem to be blessed with this ability as well.. My longest term gf married the guy after me, and my last serious gf just took the next guy home for turkey..
and that’s just 2 of more than a few cases.. I’ve certainly helped a number of women figure out what they want in life.. not exactly sure what that says of me, but I’m pretty happy regardless.

Ha! Well, thanks (I suppose) — maybe that was one of the problems. We dated for less than a month — it definitely wasn’t a great match.

He was definitely too geeky for you. Obviously they were a match up made to happen. You just warmed him up for her. Your time will come, and there will be someone else complaining that the last guy they dated just got engaged/married to someone else. BTW, someone once asked me to marry him – I turned him down – and he was married to someone else within 3 months! Some true love. Timing is all.

I think there are some misconceptions floating about here. First, I’m not in the least bit sad about this — we were SO not a match. I’m not sad about the others either. It’s just a weird coincidence. I also don’t know if, in each case, I was the immediate predecessor to the wife/fiancee in question, so Matt, I’m not sure I can help you, buddy.
